Prelude is a group learning game for youth and adults. It helps foster self-knowledge, empathy, creativity, collaboration, and appreciation for diversity. These 21st Century Skills are crucial for life and livelihood in the global knowledge economy. Prelude is an ideal way to start any team-based activity. It helps team members to build trust and to better appreciate their combined skills and assets at the start of a project when this is crucial. It’s used in schools, from Grade 6 to College, and in business fields such as project management and employee retraining.
Dr. Howard B. Esbin developed Prelude. It's based on his doctoral research in education and over two decades of executive experience in the private sector, international development, and philanthropy. He founded Heliotrope, a social enterprise, to promote Prelude.
